“Okay, can we have a little more blood, or dirt on her hand, so she looks more sinister?”
“Are we done yet? I have some very important moping to do.”
“Oh for the love of Wayne Newton, you’re getting paid $200 to stand there and play the victim, you little emo prick.”
“But I’m bored, and I feel stupid.”
“You look stupid. In fact you look downright arrogant.”
“I’m trying to look ‘pensive’, do I really want to let her steal my youth.”
“What sort of crap is that? You’re not acting,.. you’re modeling. The theme here is ‘Stealing Youth’, not ‘Little Shithead Has A Life Defining Moment.’
“What do you think. What does this whole set up say to you?”
“It says shut up and let the nice man take your picture so we can all go home, I’m just a hand model.”

I decided to take part in Ermilia’s Picture it & Write challenge, and decided I would try to do a humor piece with each picture. This one struck me as rather macabre. I wondered how can I make that funny? Then my mind just jumped to how the photo shoot may have gone. My apologies if I have offended any models with this writing.

Perfect!! I can’t tell you how many times my view has suddenly shifted when I’m watching a movie or a television show, and all I see are the people trying to act. I bet that model’s arm had to be rested on that vine because she couldn’t hold it out long enough for the shot. You nailed this one and successfully removed any drama from the picture! Love it!
You are natural my dear, poor bliss!

I love it. I love it. I love it.
Sorry, but you’ll have to do a second take…. The video wasn’t on for the first one and could you make the lad look a little more like KISS, yes, or maybe Alice Cooper. Thanks….
Randy
I like it, but I feel more debased than amused. I like the way you offer arrogance as a magnitude of stupidity, and that the obnoxiously arrogant director calls the model arrogant.
An interesting piece. Thanks for contributing this week!

Nice one! Now that you mention it the boy seems to have that wooden, twilighty look to him. You can imagine him being a bad actor.
Thank you. I can just see him all curled up under his Harry Potter blanky, dreaming his sparkly Edward Cullen dreams.
Good work! Keep up the hatred!
Oh, no hatred here. I just think the boy looks rather bored and smug, that’s all.
Oh, I love it…. Still laughing as I write…. Well done, really…!
Thanks! How sweet of you to say so. I was just drawn to the boy and that look on his face. I had to build from there.
