Twas the morn before Christmas
Just a Monday for us
Preparing for work,
No turkey to truss

Dear husband stayed home
The company system is down
He’ll kill zombies, make merry
And play with the hound
***
I’m getting ready to leave
then the dog started to yap
“What is it dumb dog?”
“Oh go take a nap!”
***
I peered into the parlor
To see what was up
What had stirred the heart
Of my energetic pup?
***
There in the living room
A Christmas wish come to life
My darling husband,
brought a smile to this loving wife
***
No reindeer, no sugar plums
no packages with lace
Just a Swiffer in hand~
He’s tidying up the place
***
Not unusual dear readers
He’s not above sharing the chores
What was special about this?
He was wearing nothing but his drawers
***
My darling, near naked
A fantasy come to life
To see our man in his underwear, cleaning
Is a secret wish of every wife
***
So buy her a fine car
Or just go to Jared
You clueless menfolk
If you want to be airheads
***
Make Christmas memorable
by being the gift
A man to be treasured
Giving spirits a lift
***
Take her mind off the housework
you’ll take care of that too
While she admires your skills
And enjoys the view
***
Make her day, take your clothes off
And pick up that broom
Show her you love her
You smokin’ hot groom
