Your personal sculptor is carving a person, thing or event from the last year of your life. What’s the statue of and what makes it so significant?
This year, on the 5th of May, I finally married my one true love, almost 29 years after he asked me be his bride the first time in 1983.
We are living a miracle, a charmed and blessed life. Things are finally as they should be. No one knows or understands me the way he does. No one loves, protects or takes care of me like he does. And certainly, no one makes me laugh like he does. I’m honored to be the one to spend the rest of my days doing that for him as well.
If there was ever an event that should be immortalized in stone, it would be a moment from that day, when we finally exchanged vows and promised to love, honor and cherish one another until we are parted by death.
While this photo doesn’t represent the most important parts of that day, it is the most magical and romantic moment that was captured on film. The Princess and The Prince (even though much older than they were when the story started) living happily ever after.

Thank you so much! The day was such a blur, I hardly remembered this until I saw the picture. The fact that he captured this exact moment is so precious to me. Can you tell we were sweating like pigs? It was 97 degrees that day! May 5th? It’s never that hot in Nebraska in May.
